Juli Beth Hinds, AICP, is a Senior Project Manager for Planning at VHB Pioneer, Ferrisburgh, Vt. She manages a wide array of public- and private-sector planning, zoning, water resource and community development projects throughout Vermont and is part of VHB’s growing airport planning practice. Juli Beth has more than 17 years’ experience in the public and private sectors managing complex and innovative community planning and development projects. Prior to joining VHB Pioneer, she was Director of Planning and Zoning for the City of South Burlington, where she was responsible for all aspects of comprehensive planning, land use permitting, and land development regulations, including the establishment of Vermont’s first stormwater utility. Some of her current and recent assignments at VHB Pioneer include grant and project development for the Town of Hinesburg sustainability initiative, expert testimony on a Fair Housing Act case, and work on mixed-use community development projects. Juli Beth holds a BA in Economics from Hollins College and a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University.
