Is there a conference rate for hotel rooms?

For those who had trouble booking at the Doubletree, overnight accommodations are again available at the Doubletree Hotel for those interested. You may ask if they will honor the CNU NE rate, but our time has expired and they will not guarantee that rate. However, the regular rates are quite reasonable. .

Do I need to be a member of CNU or CNU NE to attend the conference?

No, you are not required to be a member of CNU or CNU NE to attend the conference; however we do charge a reduced rate for our members. If you would like to become a member and be eligible for the member rate, please go to www.cnu.org/join and be sure to select the option to also join the CNU NE chapter. CNU requires that any chapter members also must be a member of the national organization.

Why do I have to enter my organization’s information after registering through PayPal?

PayPal did not allow us to include a field for organization or affiliation on the registration page; however, we prefer to have this information to include on name badges and in our records.

How can I get to Lowell?

By Train:
From Boston, Lowell is accessible by commuter rail from North Station. A schedule is available here: MBTA achedule. From the Gallagher Intermodal Terminal to the hotel, participants should take the 'downtown shuttle' bus to Merrimack Street, and then walk back to Central Street and turn left on Warren Street to reach the hotel. Lowell Regional Transit Authority (www.lrta.com) shuttles run between Gallagher Terminal and downtown Lowell every half hour. Monday through Friday, 6:00AM - 6:00PM; Saturday, 10:00AM - 4:00PM.
